Canyon Creek is an Austin suburb with a Hill Country feel. Its spacious natural setting (it was formerly ranching and hunting grounds) includes protected areas for the endangered Golden-cheeked warbler and black-capped vireo. Canyon Creek’s location is a major attraction for many families. It’s located in far northwest Austin, just southwest of the intersection of Anderson Mill Rd and RM 620. It borders the Balcones Canyonland Preserve to the west.
