On the Chisholm Trail In Georgetown TX
“These cattle know cameras,” one of the mounted horseman said as he rode up next to the crowd gathered behind the rope. Following on his heels were Gil Dean's Hollywood famous Longhorn herd, seen in movies (Alamo, Appaloosa, A Relative Stranger, and more!), T.V. shows (Texas Ranch House, Lonestar, Killer Women, Jimmy Kimmel Live), and various commercials. Volunteer cowboys drove the cattle up and down the San Gabriel River bank in the crowning event of Georgetown’s annual Chisholm Trail Days while crowds of people gathered to watch.
