The Austin MS-150 Is Here

Have you ever heard of the MS-150? It's a bike ride...pedaling...from Houston to Austin. Most people's first question is "Uh....why would you do something crazy like that?" Well, I'll tell you...

I have a friend who has given Multiple Sclerosis a face for me. For her, and many others like her, I'll be riding my bike this weekend from Houston to Austin, in order to raise money for research. And if I hit $2500 raised, my legs get shaved... $2000 gets my head shaved, and we're already very close to that!

Yesterday, I took a training ride for 76.5 miles in and around Georgetown and Liberty Hill areas. It was brutal...much of it being into a headwind. I didn't bring enough food and by the 54 mile mark I was tired. By 70 miles, I was ready to call my wife and ask her to come get me. But I thought of my friend. She CAN'T give up...so I won't either. I finished the ride proud, but exhausted.

So...both Ashley AND Russ are busy fundraising. Since we are very competitive and don't do anything half way, it's now a GRUDGE MATCH... Ashley vs. Russ.... Who will raise more money to fight MS? Well, it's neck and neck with less than a week to go... And this video will show you which one is more COMMITTED!!
